What makes you think that "the spiritual" has an outside source, or am I mixing up your reply with Sutapad's opinion? I always think of "spirituality" as the exploration the inner dimension. Certainly a productive exploration of spirituality takes place as an inner quest. I was thinking more along the lines of what outer elements inspire, motivate and provide a free flow to the inner journey. These things usually consist of God, saints/mystics, scriptures and spiritual texts, family etc. One who attains "enlightenment" all by himself is an extremely rare individual, the vast majority receive their promptings from an 'outside' (spiritual?) source. What does it say about an individual who gets their sense of meaning from such outside sources? And how meaningful is it to receive one's sense of meaning from an outside source?

I myself am not convinced that Haidakhandi Baba is Mahamuni Babaji at all. Nor do I think this guy below was either: And from what I have understood it was Mahamuni Babaji that Vijay Krishna Gosvami and Yogamaya Devi took diksha from and had mystical experiences with in the himalayas. The person in the picture above I certainly don't think is Babaji. Now the author of the "Sri Babaji" book I am reading believes that Hairakhandi Baba is the same person as Mahamuni Babaji. Saag dasji, what makes you think that he isn't? Sakhi Re! In Brindaban the gulley that runs along Nidhuvan towards Sri Radharamanji Mandir has a paneer walla at it's top (on the other end, not the one close to Radharaman, but rather on the corner, to the side of the twisted pillar and 1,000 chandelier walla mandir). The paneer wallas there are disciples of that dude in the photo. In fact, one of them, the mota-walla one, even kind of resembles him. You can perhaps go there and inquire from them about their guru. They have a photo of him hanging in their shop, I'm sure you will recognize it. Also, try their malai. PS: Covergirl seems to be out of the shades you are looking for. I think they discontinued that line. I'll shop around for something similar, so as to add to your Rip Van Winkle/mini-skirt look you are currently sporting in Radha Kund. Do you still prefer muted browns and taupes for your eyes? Maybelline has a great mix and match line now for nails and eyes. Sorry, but the organic cosmetics at the health food store are just to expensive. You'll have to make do. Who's your mammy?....

Haha , anyway VS there is a place in Gopinath Bazaar called Samba Sada Shiva Kund (this is the name given online) but I am more apt to believe the name is Shyam Sadashiva Kunj. There is a murti of Hairakhandi Baba there. Since you spent a long time in Braja I thought that maybe you would know its whereabouts.

Meaning is where without and within meet.

Ekantin thinks GR is a failed project. Like Iskcon? Hmmm, perhaps a GRR is in order?

Hey -- let Tapati regurgitate in peace. In her case it might do some good.

Someone is obsessing here and we know pretty much who it is. Could that person please stop dropping specific names here, please? I have objected before and object again to referring to names specifically. Mentioning a forum as a concept is one thing, but individuals, its not right to name them unless you yourself are ready to disclose who you are.
I appreciate my accessibility here as anonymous but will refrain from posting until specific names are not mentioned anymore by fellow anonymous.
Lets be fair. Thanks.

Thank you so much Bearded Women for that treat. A whole song and not one mention of Prabhupada or those damned sankirtan days. How refreshing in deed!

It is said that the private parts of this forum is where the best discussions are going on. Imagine the quality if the public parts are so fun already! I for one wants to keep my privilege of posting anonymous so please lets not fry the host. Thanks.
