squeak, squeak eeeeeoooouuuuuueeeeee squeak squeak
Is that better?
What is there to drink around here? I just tried to drink in some convoluted and dense philosophical discourse on another thread, which was kind of discombobulating, to say the least. It left my throat parched.
The fireworks are good. But the level of activity here leaves something to be desired. Is this a symposium for intellectuals or a simposium for simpletons? ;D

I look forward to looking at your translation. I have one too that I work on from time to time. Please have a look when you have time. We are an eclectic group with many different perspectives and opinions and many different gurus or no gurus at all. Hope that is not a problem for you. Anyway, I look forward to your participation in our discussions here.

Actually, it's a bit of a relief. Over the years my personal beliefs have changed/developed a lot and are now quite eclectic.
The invitation here was posted on the Gopinath e-list so I decided to check it out.

I think I heard that you have some sort of Ashram, or Bhaja Kutir in California?

Radhe Radhe, Hi folks. I just found this board while surfing through Nitai's bhajan kutir. Hope you don't mind me crashing the party. Greetings Bisakhadasi and Sakhicharandasji, Welcome to the forum. It is good to have you here. Yes, please us informed as to the goings-on in the Dhama. I also look forward to your input on our various topics and discussions. Things seem to go in spurts around here. One day there is a flurry of activity and the next it is a graveyard (though lots of things happen around graveyards this time of year--- Day of the Dead, Halloween, etc). Anyway welcome to our little group. Around here no one gets deleted or censored.

Hare Krishna. All Glories to Sri Sri Guru & Gauranga.
my humble obeisances to all. my material name is janet urbanczyk and my spiritual name is janhava devi dasi. my spiritual master is Srila Bodhayan Maharaja, present archarya of Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math. my grand spiritual master is Srila Promode Puri Goswami Maharaj. i was fortunately born with love for the Lord, but i did not receive His mercy until four years ago, when i became attracted to Sri Krishna. i am so fortunate. my siksa guru is Mother Radha-Govinda Swami, who is a diciple of Srila AC Bhaktivendenta Swami Prahupad. myself and my siksa guru live in buffalo, new york. i am very saddened that the Krishna temple that was once here is long gone, same being sold about 1976 or 1977 by Kirtananda (Bhaktipad). for the glory of Sri Krishna and to please Srila Prabhupad, i am trying to bring Krishna back to buffalo, ny. does anyone have any knowledge about grants or foundations available for such an endeavor? the Krishna Center would also offer tai chi, chi kung, and reiki, as i instruct all three, and hope to dovetail my talents to help the Center survive. Haribol. your servant, janhava dd @ buffalo, ny

They used to give money for good causes. One of our members, JD33, I hear has deep pockets. You might approach him for help. He is also a reikist, from what I understand. Anyway, good luck. May Radha smile on your efforts.

Hello, Haribol, or whatever.
I have just joined the group. I used to be known on other forums as Gaurasundara. I found this forum while surfing Nitai's Bhajankutir website. Nice to see many other old posters here.
I have undergone some changes in my perception of GV, and so I am glad to see that there are some like-minded Vaishnavas here vis-a-vis the science-oriented discussions about evolution etc. As I recently went back to University to get a degree in Psychology (which I gained), my interests lie in critically analysisng GV from various psychology-oriented perspectives.
