Monsoon ritu is in full swing here and thus procrastination sets in.
I just spent the last hour viewing WE T.V.'s "The Secret Lives of Women - Extreme Beliefs" on youtube.
This particular episode featured;
1. a former Cripps gang member turned Christian pastor
2. a vegan animal rights activist
3. a former Scientologist
4. a member of the once popular, now de-funked, 1970s neo-Hindu American cult ISKCON (also known as the "Hare Krishna Movement")
Regarding the Scientologists, I had a few friends in that org and I was also "cleared" of an "engram" once when I voluteered for the process to help an intern complete her internship requirements. Interesting process. Seemed to help me at the time.
I have also seen protestors out in front of their buildings like you will see if you watch the videos. I had no idea that they labled people who wanted to leave as SPs (Supressive Persons). My understanding was that an SP was someone who was actively working against the org, but I guess I was wrong.
The Hare Krishna Cult girl was cute. Loved her haircut and am thinking of going similarly short and angled (a sort of retro-geometric look). That's about all I have to say about her presentation of "bhakti".
The woman that moved me the most was the vegan animal rights activist. She appeared to be the most passionate and "authentic".
If you have anything that you need to procrastinate today, here's the link to the 5 videos:

Enjoy!
