I suggest a couple titles by Michael Newton: Journey of Souls and his sequel Destiny of Souls. The subject matter is reincarnation, and not just on earth, but other planets and in other universes (dimensions as well). His focus with 4 decades of research and many hundreds of case studies with subjects, who were put into a deep trance state with hypnosis, is more on their existence between incarnations than their lives current and past while incarnated. He includes some of references to Eastern traditions. By the grace of the Divine Couple and Sri Caitya-guru I have been led to these writings by Dr. Newton about his research. I had heard of past life regressions with hypnosis before, and well as from an actual practitioner online in a chat room back in the 1990s, but was ambivalent, if not a little skeptical until I began Dr. Newton's books.
