Greetings Everyone, I just found out today that our friend and fellow traveler on this long and winding road to Krsna-prema, Jagat, has learned that his son Pavel has disappeared while on a bike outing with friends near Quebec, Naturally, Jagat wants to return to Canada to help search for him and be with his ex-wife and mother during this time of uncertainty and fear. Many of you probably already know about this. Nevertheless, in the hope of helping out in some small way, I am posting links below that explain what happened and that provide ways to assist Jagat in this time of potential tragedy. Our hopes are that, by Radhika's grace, Pavel will be found safe and sound soon. Please help if you can. jagadanandadas.blogspot.com/2021/08/my-son-disappears-while-mountain-biking.htmljagadanandadas.blogspot.com/2021/08/love-loss-and-self.html#morejagadanandadas.blogspot.com/2021/08/go-fund-me-page-started.htmlThis last link is to various ways to send Jagat money so he can return to Canada to be with family and help find his son. Please give generously, if you can. Our hopes and good wishes go out to Jagat and his family.

I am happy to report that Jagat's GoFundMe fund is up to $1824 at present. There is still a good ways to go. They have set the desired goal at $5000. I initially thought he was asking for $2000. Perhaps the rest is for a return trip to India and for expenses while in Canada. There are other avenues for sending money to him (Paypal and direct deposit to his account). Hopefully he is closer to his goal with funds received through those channels. Anyway, every little bit helps.

We are very sorry to hear this. Betsy and I held out hope that Pavel would be found alive. Our hearts go out to Jagat and family. A young, promising life cut short. This seems to be such a common story these days, but perhaps it has always been this way. May this Jivatman find peace wherever he has gone.

I did not know Pavel, but I spent a good deal of time with Jagat in India years ago. We swam together in the pond at Radhakund, and we stayed with Lalit Prasad Thakur at his family mandir in West Bengal. This news greatly saddens me.
