Wow, that's something to get into. How has it swelled to seven vols? Gita Press manage two. I assume you have Ralph Griffith's translation as well.

I think this might be some kind of expanded Devanagari edition. I didn't see an English translation but only briefly glanced inside. It looked like it had an English word for word kind of breakdown but I didn't really get into it. I didn't buy it. It is at a local shop. Ramayana isn't really my thing. I've only read the Subramanian edition.

Krishna and the boys used to enact the ram -leela and Lord Chaitanya. The vanars are not normal beings but offsprings of gods just like the ones who came with Krishna. I always keep the set and read on and off..

I like when people share the pastimes. Don’t care if it it’s Kurma, Varaha or Rama.. I kinda get tired of the talking and even singing most times. the purpose of all that is to help you get a taste for His pastime I think.
I do like Radha and Krishna. It’s madhurya rasa. But the others appeal to my sense of drama and adventure. Krishna had all that within him.
