Jai Nitai! Jai Gaur! About this title, Nitaidas mentioned (in one of our book club discussions) a translation of Madhurya Kadambini by Klaus Klostermaier. I did a search online but can't find it anywhere. Do you happen to have any more info on it? Thanks! Jai Sri Radhe!

Why do you want that copy? Why is the collaborative work of Pandit Sri Ananta Das Babaji Maharaj, Dr Brzezinski (Jaganandadas), and an ex-devotee Madhavanandadas not sufficient for your need? I think their work is an improvement on Advaitadas' translation.

Radhe Radhe Didi! Dandavat pranam. Thank you for your note. I do appreciate it.
I don't doubt the quality of work coming from Sri Anantadas Babaji, or Jagatji. However, I do like to compare translations to see if there's something that reveals itself in the comparison. I actually have five different translations of this book (Anantadas Baba's, Sarvabhavana's, Dina Bandhu's, Bhanu Swami's, and the edition from the Narayan Maharaj group.) MK is one of my favorite texts. Years ago I did a comparison reading with Sarvabhavana's and Dina Bandhu's I did find some discrepancies and different treatment of various topics. Sadly, I have no idea where my notes are from that study, but I'd like to do it again. And, I definitely think there is value in comparing and contrasting a scholarly translation with the translation done by a bhakta. Anyway, enough said. I hope that answers your question.
Jai Sri Radhe!

Why is the Narayan Maharaja group edition included?

Haha! It's pretty much at the same level as the other IGM editions, so why not?

Because there are better uses for your precious time.

Ah! Fair enough. But what makes the Narayan Maharaja edition worse than the other IGM editions? I know that Narayan Maharaja has an affinity for plagiarism (see the website of Advaita Das-ji), but sad to say I've even seen a very recent publication by a trade parivara that plagiarizes Advaita's translation work. Not that I'm saying plagiarism is ok in any way. Just saying is all. Kali continues to progress.

Just a quick answer to the initial post. I wrote Dr. Klostermaier and received a reply from him that he never translated Madhurya Kadambini. He only did two translations - Bhakti Rasamrita Sindhu Bindu and one another on Advaita philosophy and Madhvacharya (I forget the title he mentioned).
Radhe Radhe! 🙏🏻
