We understand what the RK and Gaura leelaa are and what they are as factors in leelaa-smaranam. We need to be goal-oriented, goal-loka-vaasis if you will. Just as ice hocky players have to keep the opponent's goal in mind and the goal being to get the puck into that net to score a point, we need to keep our goal in mind in our saadhana.
But, what about our daily lifes and routines therein? If we are situated in sattva-guna as described in the Gita, then we should be viewing all activities as fun and games, just as the nitya-leelaa is all fun and games. Those stuck in rajo-guna or tamo-guna are not going to be viewing all their activities as just fun and games, because they have certain goals in mind that are for something ephemeral. The American dream! The dream to win a record deal on The Voice! Yes, they will be having some fun, but it will not be all games, because they'll have to deliver on a contract and show up to the recording studio even if they don't feel like it on any particular day. Plus their fun and games usually are restricted to the types of fun and games here on earth, like amusement parks, riding zip lines, going to the baseball stadium, going to see a James Bond movie in the theater, playing the latest hit video game or chess or Texas hold'em et al.
As I said to jd33 years ago: In the final analysis it is all leelaa.
