This is a huge undertaking and I cannot do it alone. I am looking for volunteers to help me. For the present I have Sridhara's commentary for the first two Skandhas thanks to the hard work of some contributors to the Gaudiya Grantha Mandir. After that, however, I will need help. It will really slow me down to have to type the commentary in by myself. Therefore, I need some volunteers who can begin working the commentary for on Skandha Three.
Here is what is needed:
1. Someone who can read either Devanagari script or Bengali script.
2. Someone who can acquire one of the editions of the text through a library or from India. There are several editions in Devanagari and Bengali scripts.
3. The text program Emacs which is available for all operating systems. Emacs allows the entry of unicode fonts that support diacritics. I have some macros that I use to reassign keys in order to enter Sanskrit diacritcs. Or, the text can be entered using the Velthuis system for Sanskrit. I have a little program that will convert that to unicode.
4. Someone who can put aside an hour or so every few days to type in the text and then check it over for mistakes.
Anyone out there willing and ready?
Naturally, the corrected text will be contributed to the Grantha Mandir for free access.
