A small selection from Sri Bilvamangala Lilasuka's Sri Krishna Karnamrtam
Hail to my preceptor Soma-giri, Like to the fabled gem Chintamani; Hail to my inner guide, the lord divine, Whose crown does with a peacock feather shine; At whose feet, like a wish-fulfilling tree, Goddess Jayshri attains the victory; To celebrate her nuptials and rejoice, Electing her husband by her own choice. 1
A charming adolescent youth there is, Who revels in his own inherent bliss; Who is smothered in wish-fulfilling flowers, Dropped by damsels from their heavenly bowers; Who plays his flute with modulating strains, And in care-free complacent joy remains. Thousands of cowherd damsels round him stand, Who are compelled to hold up with their hand Their loosened belts that slip in disarray, Which would, in their excitement, fall away; On those to him who reverently bow, He does the state of salvation bestow; And is most magnanimous and merciful, Always ready to show favour to all. 2
Who is the store, exclusive and boundless, Of radiant pearl-like exquisiteness; Gazed on by Lakshmi's side glances of grace, His eyes grow restless and languid his pace. Who in a courtyard by Kalindi stays, And with his amorous beloved plays; Who is the source of Cupid incarnate, Who rules of sweet beauty the sov'reign state. That blue boy, like a sapphire, we implore, And with devotion, worship and adore. 3
........ How sweet is my Lord in figure and grace, Yet sweeter still the sweetness of his face; But lo! His smile with honey scent replete, Is sweeter than surpassing sweetness sweet! 92

Sri Krishna Karnamrtam, 1.4.
Stuper Mundi, the wonder of the world. 🙂
The glory of whose bound up curly hair, Is fastened with a peacock plumage fair; Whose lovely and exquisite charming face Is steeped in sweetness of beauty and grace. Who delightsome fresh blooming youth displays; Who dulcet music upon his flute plays; Whom cowherd dames with budding breasts implore, Who worship him with pure love and adore; May in my mind that bright effulgence shine, The worlds' only wonder and joy sublime. 4

Sri Krishna Karnamrtam, 1.5.
Whose lotus countenance charms and beguiles With the ambrosia of his sweet smiles; Whose curly and abundant locks are bound, And with feathers of a proud peacock crowned; Though tainted with poisoned meat is my mind, And to the sensible objects confined, May that divine light in my mind arise, Charming with lively wide glorious eyes! 5

Whose eyes partially open with delight, Appear like unfurling lotus buds bright; Who when he plays his flute with joy replete, Occasions a flow of pure nectar sweet; Whose cheeks reflective like bright mirrors shine, When he displays his gentle smiles sublime; May that lotus-like face of my Lord be Made manifest within the mind to me. 6

Sri Krishna Karnamrtam, 1.7.
Who with charming fresh adolescence glows, Whose moon-face with flute-nectar-music flows; May my speech be with a droplet endued, Of but a droplet of beatitude; Of the delightsome sweetness and beauty Of him, the foe of Mura, Murari. 7

Who is with simple adornment content, And wears a peacock plume as ornament; From Cupids' influence, languid his pace, Who is enchanting with his lotus-face; Who is to damsels of Vraja endeared, And with collyrium from their eyes smeared; All hail to him the prince of the cowherds, The life and vitality of my words! 8
I seek refuge in that great Lord revered, Whose handsome limbs are all marked and besmeared With crimson powder when he had compressed A cowherd damsels' ample pot-like breast; Whose lotus hands are soft and dawn red bright, With which he plays his flute in vast delight; The patali blossoms vie and compete, With the red damasc of his lotus-feet; And whose exhilarating charm and grace Shines forth as budding smiles upon his face. 9

We seek refuge in that Almighty Lord, Always by fair cowherd beauties adored; Who gazes unbroken upon him shed, Whence beams of Cupids' influence are spread. 10
May that indeterminate divine light, Whose heart is full of playful pure delight, Who with wide eyes lively glances imparts, Who apprehends the Vraja beauties' hearts, Causing them to flutter in ecstasy, Within my heart be manifest to me. 11
May I bear in my mind emotion sweet, In contemplating Krishna's lotus-feet; Which all the pride of fair beauty allays, That Lakshmi's lotus play garden displays; Which confer on supplicants fearlessness, In vast abundant bounty and largess. 12

Whose eyes with fond affection are endued, The store of beauty and beatitude; Which at every moment more charming grow, At every step fresh novel sweetness show; Which always and repeatedly display Fresh blooming lustre each and every day. May that Lord adolescent of my heart, The contemplation of his eyes impart. 13

Who stirs and swells the ocean of sweetness; Who soothes with his attire and youthful dress; Whose guileless smiling radiates the grace, Of his delightful shining moon-like face; Let my mind in the waves of bliss, I pray, Be submerged, carried off and swept away. 14

The charm natural of whose lotus-face, Is marked with expressions of loving grace; Who relishes a rare pleasure profound, When playing and hearing his own flutes' sound; Whose delicate and dawn-red holy feet, Emit of lotus flowers fragrance sweet; May he whose power moisture doth impart To all the world, enter my melting heart. 15
All hail to the Supreme Lord's holy feet! Whose sounding anklets warble accents sweet; The lovely impressions of which are found Impressed upon the paths of Vraja round. 16
