A passage from Kavi Karnapura's Sri Chaitanya Carita- Mahakavya; from Chapter 12. The context is Sarvabhauma having heard Sri Mahaprabhu expounded various meanings of a Bhagavatam verse.
With praising of the Lord quite overcome,
He took a servant with him and went home;
He hied to his chambers to take repose,
And there a pair of verses did compose. 83
He then delivered to the hands with care
Gramercy rice to that attendant there,
Who with the alms and the letter was sent,
And joyfully back to the Lord he went. 84
But Mukunda, those verses to recall,
He read, and then had written on the wall.
He passed the letter into the Lord's hand,
And he the verses scrutinised and scanned. 85

krpaambudhir-yas-tam-aham prapadye//
Who came to teach his own devotion sweet,
With dispassion blent, and knowledge replete;
The ancient primal One in form became,
The Lord Sri Krishna Chaitanya by name;
In him, the sea of mercy for the meek,
As my supreme ultimate goal I seek. 86
kaalaan-nastam bhakti-yogam nijam yah

aavirbhutas-tasya paadaaravinde
gaadham gaadham liyate citta-bhrngah//
That mighty One now manifest to sight,
As the Lord Sri Krishna Chaitanya hight;
The yoga of devotion has displayed,
Which in the passage of time had decayed;
Let my bee-mind in his lotus-feet steep,
And quaff sweet nectar deeper and more deep. 87
Having examined thus the verses o'er,
The gracious one with his hands ripped and tore;
But since the writing was upon the wall,
Those verses, like throat-gems, were conned by all. 88
Due to some readers complaints at the use of archaic words or the archaic meanings of words, sorry to seem too nice (precise) Hehehehe
