Here is a work I started for Baba Hrdayananda Dasji before he passed into nitya-lila. It was interesting. Think I will take it up again. It had just started to get interesting. This is just the introduction. Nama Yajna

In regard to the text Nama Yajna by Nitai a translation of a text by Sri Sri Hrdayananda Das Babaji Maharaja
"or, with the Gambhıra names of Gaura’s companion, ´ Srı Vakresvara Pandita: (bhaja) ´sr¯ı kr . s .n . acaitanya prabhu nity¯ananda hare kr . s .n . a hare r¯ama ´sr¯ı r¯adhe govinda"
What would be the historical connection of the above mantra with Vakresvara Pandit?

Hi kks. Welcome to the forum. The mantra you ask about is traditionally said to be revealed by Sri Vakresvara Pandita, without the "bhaja," of course. I don't know if there is a textual record connecting it with him. I will look around and see what I can find. Adding "bhaja" kind of changes the meaning. It turns it into a command or at least a strong request. I'm not sure that was intended by its originator. The fact that Radha is in the vocative (Radhe) suggests that the originator regarded it as more of a calling out to the persons named than as an instruction directed at an earthly audience. Anyway, a likely source for the connection of this mantra with Vakresvara would be the Bhaktiratnakara. I will see if it turns up there. Good question. There are other early texts that might record the story of its revelation, too.

Here at last is the song (sucaka) remembering my gurudeva, Tinkadi Gosvami, by Sri Hrdayananda Das Babaji Maharaja (the gurudeva of Sakhicaran Das and Bisakha Dasi). It will appear in one of the appendices of Sadhu Sadhu. It is a nice piece of work that brings to mind both the extraordinary sadhu it was written about and the extraordinary sadhu who wrote it. It is still somewhat rough and in need of minor correction and polishing, but it is for the most part understandable. Sucaka 2

Here is a corrected version of the Sucaka of Sri Tinkadi Goswami by Sri Hrdayananada Das Babaji Maharaj. Found some errors in the Bengali and some in the English. If anyone spots any more, please call them to my attention. Sir Tinkadi Gosvami Sucaka
