It was just pointed out to me that our friend madanamohan has vaporised. He and all of his postings have disappeared into the void without a word. Sad thing. I enjoyed his posts and I assume that some of the others here did too. I suppose he had is reasons for withdrawing. I wish him all the best.

Thousand apologies. Just got the huff about this and that. Found a web site where you can listen to the Valmiki Ramayana audio. There are 53 one hour episodes so far with a new one every Sunday. So I have been listening to that for days now. You can check it out if you like. www.yogaspirit.ca/index.php

Don't know what the cause of your most recent huff was, but I hope is has been resolved. If not, let's discuss it. If it got you angry enough to withdraw your membership, it is probably not a piddling matter. We would all benefit from hearing about it. You and I disagree on a number of issues, but I respect your point of view and certainly feel it should be represented. So, if I said something that offended you, sorry. I look forward to seeing more of your writings and translations. Those I have always considered one of the treasures of this site. Your viewpoint and presentation is more traditional than mine. That is no doubt more refreshing and probably more appealing to most of the members of this site.

As far North as Wales is I was surprised to see the webpage ya linked to. I need a lexicon --- and I could never get --- pentecostal holy roller mall ministers past philosophy in The Penn Central Mall (only so - so) and I need to go with prophets and telepathics. Some of these words are not confirmed.

It was not so much out of anger that caused me to withdraw, but I started looking over some of my previous posts and saw myself from another angle, and more out of embarrassment, performed a virtual disappearing stunt, which only served to compound my folly. Why I had to remove all my posts and all was an over-reaction to certain posts advocating 'atheism'; just felt I wanted to run for it and take my things in case it might be contagious. Govinda Damodara Madhava etc.

Govinda Damodara Madhava etc. Oh, well sorry about the atheism bit. As you have hopefully seen by now I wasn't exactly promoting atheism, per se, but noting how as one advances along the path of bhakti, one's theism gradually drops away and the world we end up in if we are fortunate to make it all the way is an atheistic world. Nobody in Goloka worries about god. For me and hopefully for others now, too, this turns atheism into yet another sign post reminding one of Krsna, signifying the hope of one day becoming so intimately involved with him and Radha that we totally forget their gaudy goddishness. The secret is to read on. Ignore the pail of cold water just thrown on you and keep reading! The world is full of such meditations!
