Sweet, sweet are the sounds of the mRdaGgas. Sweet, sweet are the rhythms.
His devotees are wild with the sweet nectar of ecstatic spiritual love. Sweet, sweet is their singing.

madhura madhura vacana sundara
madhura madhura bhAti

Sweet is His leaning on a companion and sweet is His swaying to and fro. Sweet, sweet are His motions.
Sweet, sweet are His beautiful words. Sweet, sweet is His effulgent glory.

Ah my Nitai! ah my Nityananda ray!
He dances and he sings and makes people say "Caitanya!".
Capering and jumping high Nitai moves, possessed by Gauranga,
and all the iniquitous heretics flee the land.
Oh, he is adorned with pleasing silken garments,
and has a pearl earing pendant from one ear;
he glistens and sparkles with many ornaments on his body.
He proceeds in the playful company of Ramai sundara and
Gauridas and others, all his faithful and devoted followers.
On all sides my Nitai exclaims, say Hari! and causes all to say,
And Jnana das sings his glory both by night and day!

1. Enjoying pastimes of spiritual love, Lord Gaura dances. He who is the ruler of all the worlds enjoys pastimes in Nadéyä.
2. Lord Gaura dances and dances. He does not know one direction from another. The moon of His mouth chants, “Hari!” He weeps and weeps.
3. The treasur eof ecstatic spiritual love, a treasure He brought down from the spiritual world of Goloka, He freely distributes to everyone. Chanting, “Haribol!”, Lord Gaura dances in saìkértana.
4. He is overcome with ecstatic spiritual love. A gentle smile graces His face. Alas! Balaräma däsa was cheated of the chance to taste the nectar of serving Him.

even though my pronounciation is horrible and my voice is far from soothing

The padas themselves are so enchanting.
I have been reading alot on sanskrit/bengali poetry; like the book Singing Krishna etc. it really helps to get a good feel of the scenery,emotions,situations etc.

I have been selecting random padas for Nitai Gora to recite, im not sure if i should post my RadheShyam padas.

anyways i thought about doing the whole PremaBhaktiCandrika, bengali and english, but i dont want to butcher the bengali so ill probabl just do the english translation.
