Thanks Subrataji for sharing these beautiful pastimes of Mahaprabhu and Raghunatha Bhagavat Acarya. The passage below caught my attention, for I always thought about the possibility of people from Europe and and other Nations, seeing Mahaprabhu in those days and even interacting with Him, like Chand Kasi for example. Very interesting; any more in this line, please, do share. The opinion of Portuguese about Sri Mahaprabhu "When Sriman Mahaprabhu, accompanied by His disciples, was proceeding along the banks of River Ganges on his way to Sri Neelachal, He came across two dutch gentleman on board two dutch gentkeman on board a boat coming towards KutiGhat. On seeing Sriman Mahaprabhu and Sri Nityananda Prabhu dancing at the front being followed by various people on their way to Sri Neelachal, one of the dutch men yelled out to the other"Look ! Look! Two mad persons are going and lots of other men are following them." The other dutch men replied " No , No. They are not the mad man or else why would so many persons follow them. They must be some godmen". Then these two dutch persons came to the river banks and asked one of the disciples " What are the names of the persons dancing at the front." The disciples replied " One of them is Nitai and other one is Gouranga". On hearing those names they left." The period of the time being said the Portuguese had a business centre of Cotton at KutiGhat and Portuguese Governor used to stay there. Jaharlal and Pannal's father, Sri Haridhan Daw was residing at that Governer's Bunglow after having purchased from Portuguese. Till today, the following inscription could be seen their at : - " Dutch Kutir - This home was residence of teh Dutch Governor, when Berhanogar was under Dutch possession."
