It was in the spring of 1978 at the ISKCON temple in Bombay. I heard a loud commotion in the road outside the temple compound just before sunset. When I looked out into the road, I saw many crows squawking and jumping around strangely, and kicking up some dust. The next morning I was up on the balcony chanting my rounds while class was being held in the temple courtyard. All of a sudden the class stopped, which was quite bizarre, to say the least. I went down the stairs and saw a crowd gathered at the temple entrance. When I looked over the shoulder of one of the persons in the crowd, I saw the manager of the temple lying in a pool of his own blood, and another, a householder, was standing there holding his stomach, which was bleeding. One of the Americans that was married to an Indian woman had gone berserk attacking people with a straight razor. Naturally, the police came and hauled him off to jail right away.
A mere coincidence or something more mysterious, gentle reader?

Some here may related to this experience in some respects. I just consider it being shown connections in nature that sometimes we just miss. Traditional societies that we may dismiss as 'primitive' have not lost those connections by being 'civilized'.
